TADS presents Robin Hood by Larry Blamire
Sherwood Forest is stirring. It's early morning and Robin Hood and Will Gamwell are hunting for breakfast. Instead of finding wild boar (or the King's deer), they find Marian, lady-in-waiting to her majesty Queen Eleanor.
Robin is smitten at first sight. This meeting marks the beginning of a sequence of events that will lead to action, adventure, romance, and the eventual overthrowing of the evil tyrant, The Sheriff of Nottingham.

After the death of King Richard the Lionheart, his brother John and the Sheriff are ruling the land, causing misery and suffering by raising taxes and imposing harsh penalties on law breakers.
Who will stand up to these villains? Who will restore the peoples hopes and happiness?

In a new and original take on the timless story, this play sees the return of classic characters like Little John and Will Scarlett who are set to take on the might of the Royal family, the Church, and the lawgivers of Nottingham, while enjoying a rip-roaring period setting, with music and songs to match!

This production features members from both the adult and junior sections of TADS playing alongside each other in a funny, poignant, memorable, and above all, FUN play, with action for all the family!
